"On My way to Tenno-ji I was rained on and asked for lodging at a place called Eguchi. On being refused, I wrote this."
天王寺にまゐりけるに雨のふりければ江口と申す所に宿をかりけるにかさゞりければ

Japanese:
世の中を
厭ふまでこそ
かたからめ
かりのやどりを
惜む君かな
Romanization:
yo no naka wo
itou made koso
katakarame
kari no yadori wo
oshimu kimi kana
Translation #104:
It's hard to despise
the whole world
as a borrowed lodging,
but that you should begrudge me
even one night's lodging!
